Illinois Office of Broadband Digital Equity Kickstarter Grants
Friday, June 2 at 12PM CT
The Illinois Office of Broadband is releasing its Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the Digital Equity Capacity Kickstarter program, which represents an integral and strategic component of the State of Illinois’s Connect Illinois vision and commitment to broadband access, adoption, and use – all through the lens of digital equity and inclusion. The program will serve as a bridge to forthcoming federal Digital Equity Capacity Grant Program funding per the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. The Digital Equity Capacity Kickstarter program focuses on supporting digital skill building, broadband adoption and use, and device access. The Illinois Broadband Lab and Illinois Extension are hosting a 1-hour webinar on Friday, June 2, at 12 PM CT, where Illinois Office of Broadband director, Matt Schmit will provide an overview of the NOFO, application details, and answer questions during a Q and A discussion following the presentation.
