There are a number of names on Michigan’s roster that has helped elevate them to the national championship game, and accolades too.
Quarterback J.J. McCarthy has thrown for more than 2,850 yards, tallying 22 touchdowns. Running back Blake Corum has gained an impressive 1,111 yards on 237 carries, scoring 25 touchdowns.
The Wolverines defense collectively is responsible for 37 total sacks, 15 interceptions and 14 forced fumbles.
An undefeated record complete with statement wins speaks for itself, but there is an unsung hero who has been a large support of the program, and there for every down in every game along the way — the UM marching band.
Always there to play the fight song. Always there to shout out and distract the opposing team. Always there to support the Wolverines.
In the video above, you can see the final play of the game from the band’s perspective. And, of course, the celebration, jubilation and one helluva rendition of the fight song to put the cherry on top of the Rose Bowl win.
