Today, we’re at Darenth Big Lake, ready to take on the BCAC (British Carp Angling Championship). It’s been about 15 years since I last competed in matches myself. However, last year, I got back into it and realized how much I missed the pressure and excitement.
T is also quite competitive, although he’s not feeling 100% at the moment. He recently had surgery and is hobbling around with stitches. But no excuses—we’re here, and we’re ready to tackle the competition.
Our plan is to take you along on our 48-hour journey during the BCAC. You’ll get a taste of what this championship is all about. And if we qualify, it’ll be quite an achievement. After that, we’ll head to B1, which feels like home turf for us.
