Sourav Ganguly played cricket for India between 1992 and 2008.
He was an aggressive yet stylish left handed batsman who opened the batting in One Day internationals and batted in the middle order in tests. He could also bowl medium pace right arm over on occasion. He captained India between 2000 and 2005 in a highly successful period of time for Indian cricket after a mixed 1990s era.
