New Zealand white-water kayaker Jordan Searle and expedition team members Ari Walker, Barny Young and David Bain navigate through the First Descent of the Karangarua River on the West Coast of New Zealand with the tracking support of Taylor Weston. The river flows northwest from the Southern Alps, entering the Tasman Sea 80km northeast of Haast. The expedition involved two days of scouting and four days to complete the First Descent.
