We've designed this seat plates to be the perfect central seating position when using a car seat instead of the van shaped seat. The plate in this video isn't designed to work with swivel seat bases.

We will soon release a plates slightly offset that will still give you are great seating position but will also allow the seat to swivel.

This is a really easy DIY job and there are lots of Golf GTI, Audi A3 seats etc available on market place and ebay etc.

There is something about Wing back seats that make the van feel like it handles better. I know its a big slab sided object and not a race car, but the way the seats lock you in, make it feel more stable when cornering.
