A comprehensive course on Islam, wherein Javed Ahmad Ghamidi teaches his book ‘Meezan’. The book presents his understanding of Islam, resulting from a lifetime’s research and deliberations on the Quran, the Sunnah, and the Hadith. In this lecture series, he not only presents his interpretation of these sources, but compares and contrasts his opinions with other major schools developed over the past 1400 years. Javed Ahmed Ghamidi is a Pakistani Muslim theologian, a Quran scholar, and an educationist. Mr. Ghamidi is a student of Maulana Amin Ahsan Islahi and Maulana Abul A’la Maududi. Mr. Ghamidi has authored several books, including the bestseller ‘Meezan’, in which he presents a comprehensive treatise on the entire content of Islam. Mr. Ghamidi is a researcher and a critical thinker who has challenged many aspects of the traditional Muslim schools of thought on the basis of evidence from Quran and sunnah.
