Thilan Thusara Samaraweera is a former Sri Lankan cricketer, who played Tests and ODIs.
Thilan Samaraweera first came to Sri Lanka side as a off spinner and his early career he performed as a bowler. Thilan's best bowling performance in ODI cricket history came against England in 1999 during the 13th ODI of the Carlton & United Series. In that match Thilan defended Sri Lanka's 181 runs and took 3 wickets for just 34 runs from his 9 overs to win the match for Sri Lanka.
