China’s continued attempts to bully Australian industry shows its impossible to reason with a “repressive communist government,” says Michael Kroger.
Chief Executive of the Australian Industry Group Innes Willox hit back at China and said Australian businesses cannot let Beijing continue to bully them.
“We won’t miss the abuse, our lobsters being left to die at their airports, our coal being left at ports for months at a time, their petty bureaucracy, their authoritarianism, and their determination to punish,” Mr Willox said.
Mr Kroger told Sky News it is “totally misguided” to think China can be dealt with in a reasonable and rational way.
“These people exist by virtue of breaking every rule in the world in which we live,” he said.
