Former Manuel Ricardo Cristopher Figuera used to be in Nicolas Maduro’s inner circle. Now, he is living in the U.S. after he joined the opposition in Venezuela. Figuera told the NewsHour that despite international and domestic pressures, “there are alliances that currently do not want Maduro out.”
