We love a good car story!
From the day Marvin bought this BelAir in 1956 he had a vision of where he wanted to take it. He never imagined the ride this car would take him on. From meeting his wife to raising a family this 1956 BelAir was always with him.
It was only natural that he became friends with another Minnesota hot rodder and painter, Jon Kosmoski. While Marvin was building a car to fit his needs, Jon was crafting the worlds finest paints.
This car is pretty cool owned by Connie and Marlin Angler. He bought the car brand new in ’56 he had it for a few years he met his wife dated her in this car he has sense sold the car got it back. A few years ago he finally revamp this car probably one last time and did it all the way he always wanted to do it get a good kandy apple paint job on it just the way so it looks perfect it fits just in the era and it’s actually a car from the era. This is somewhat of a survivor that's been redone over and over but it’s a lot of history to the car and out in a lot of history to the guy he’s had it at who knows how many shows this car has been in and trophies it’s won one in different venues and different levels. John developed that paint for he wanted his cars to be the best at chose to be so he strived to get the best colors get the best ingredients and you know he did. He had the wildest stuff. You know we’re Minnesota boys Minneapolis is where it was born we like to use that we like it the best just we get the most reaction out of that. It’s the old school real deal was made by a guy without big corporations and new people are coming with candies but they just color wise they just don't hold them it's just not the same.
With a new final Kandy Apple finish, Marvin plans on it being the last revision to the car. By the way he's still cursing and he's happy to race you if you think your car can handle it.
