Daniel and his partners at Alpha have developed a fascinating business model. It is not very different from the way that private equity real estate shops operate in that they go out and find sponsors who they have confidence in, conduct due diligence and then assign capital to those sponsors. The primary differentiator is, however, that while typical private equity companies source their capital from institutional investors, Alpha Investing source theirs from individual investors.

It's an interesting approach to real estate crowdfunding and Daniel and his colleagues have done an exceptionally good job of it.
