Ingredients

To Make Sugar Syrup
Water - 1 Litre
Sugar - 1 1/2 Cups
Lemon Skin

To make Lemon Iced Tea
Water - 1 Litre
Tea Granules - 2 Tsp
Sugar Syrup
Lemon Juice

Method:

1. Take water in a saucepan and heat it.
2. Add lemon juice and sugar to it.
3. Mix well and lemon skin to it.
4. Boil the syrup for 5 mins.
5. Turn off the stove and add the mint sprigs with fresh leaves.
6. Take water in another container and add tea granules to it.
7. Boil the tea for 5 mins and then strain it into a bowl.
8. Now add the prepared sugar syrup into the black tea.
9. Mix well and add lemon juice to it. Mix again and let it cool down completely.
10. Place glass cubes, lemon slices and mint leaves in a long serving glass.
11. Pour the cooled down lemon juice into the glass.
12. Lemon iced tea is ready to be served chilled and nice.

Lemon iced tea is a tea based beverage made with simple and flavorful ingredients. There are basically two steps involved in this recipe wherein the first is to prepare sugar syrup and the second is to prepare tea decoction. You put these two together along with a few other elements to make lemon iced tea. As simple as it sounds, this is great for parties/get-togethers to be made on a short notice. You can this drink any time and it is refreshing very much especially during the summers. You can serve it chilled or with ice cubes like I have shown in the video. Do try this recipe and enjoy.
