As the historic verdict against Ahmaud Arbery's killers was announced, countless distance runners all over the country collectively breathed a sigh of relief. Since Arbery's killing in February of 2020, they pledged to run with Maud -- and did so all the way to the 50th New York City Marathon and until his killers were convicted of murder.
