You join me for a special winters short session trip. Having looked along this section of river many times, I decided to sink my teeth into it for a few trips at the very final days of the fishing season. What was to unfold was a very special trip, including not one but two 7lb chub one of which would be a new venue best chevin along with some other welcome chub too! I had headed out on this particular fishing trip with worms which would be fished air injected, but like many of my trips had brought along other baits to keep my options open, namely breadflake, cheese paste, maggots and worms.
