It's arguable that one of the most overlooked groups who participated in the Normandy invasion on D-Day is the engineers. These men were charged with clearing the way so that the infantry and armor could penetrate through the defenses of the Atlantic Wall. In this episode, we're bringing a journal that was filled out on June 6th and in the days after that gives a blow by blow account of what was happening on D-Day as it was happening.
