Secrets of Successful Snapper Fishing: It's All About the Waft!
I’m fishing solo this time and recently headed out locally to see if I could get a feed of Snapper. It was a windy and cold 7 degree morning that eventually warmed up to a calm and warm 20 degrees.
In this video I show you the basic technique for catching snapper. The way I have had most success is to ‘waft’ a bait down slowly through the water column, allowing the fish to spot it as it falls. I show you the gear I love using when fishing from a boat or PWC, and the technique to have the best chance of getting your own feed of this quality table fish.
Watch until to the end and see one of the fastest trips home I have ever had in the awesome glass-off conditions!
