Jewish aid provider, Lily Schwarzschild, was born in London, England in 1920. When World War II ended, Lily Schwarzschild joined the British Army’s Jewish Relief Unit to aid concentration camp survivors in British-occupied zones in Germany.
In this clip from her USC Shoah Foundation testimony, Lily discusses the importance of listening to trauma survivors’ stories, regardless of comfort.
