This is my mid summer drone tour of our Southern Illinois farm, as I am continually documenting our land management projects and in this case my fall food plots. This drone tour was on 09-02-23 and the majority of my fall food plots for deer were already in the ground. Also if you follow the channel and you know about our VRBO cabin build project you will be able to see where the vrbo cabin build is located on our farm and how it relates to our road and the relation to our current home, which sits at the far back of the property. All of what you'll see in today's drone tour that is not woods, used to be farm fields. Today's drone video was captured with my DJI mini 3 pro drone and it was shot in 4k. When we bought the property in 2016 it was being cash cropped with corn and soybeans. Since then we've implemented a wildlife conservation plan that consists of approximately 20 acres of new wildlife cover including multiple loblolly pine plantings, native warm season grass plantings and natural regeneration areas as well. Also we added multiple new wildlife ponds throughout the property which you will see as well. The red cabin is the vrbo cabin build that is still ongoing and the muddy looking pond is our DIY pond that we recently finished that is below the new vrbo cabin.
