In this video we are explaining how we use the Smap 3D computer to help us design a scleral lens where every “hill and valley” of the ocular surface is replicated onto the back surface of a unique scleral lens known as the “Latitude” Scleral lens. The images obtained with this computer are uploaded to a special laboratory where proprietary software is used to create a very thin and comfortable lens that provides so many if our “high need” patient population with excellent vision, often after years of suffering from poor vision and ocular pain.
