In this video, I show you and talk about some of my at-home beauty devices that ultimately led me to the path of laser aesthetics. The microcurrent device is my favorite and absolutely safe to use by anyone daily. The Faustina IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) device from the United Kingdom is probably not on the US market for a reason. That device can burn your hair, and it is not safe to use for darker skin types as it can cause or worsen melasma and other pigmentation. However, it is a nice device for lighter skin types, as the effects of the treatment such as even skin tone and plumpness are noticeable. Dr. Pen for home use is a big no-no as it is a device that does not have research to back its effectiveness and safety.
