Uinta Mountains | Fishing Hiking Camping Exploring Cuberant Lakes in the Uinta National Forest. We headed up to Cuberant Lakes with a youth group, of a bunch of Garrin and Kale's friends and a couple of parents . We went there for 3 days and 2 nights. We backpacked about 3 miles in with our tents and sleeping bags to one of the lower lakes. We caught some beautiful Brooke Trout using spinners. power bait and flies. The kids had a great time tying together a log raft and swung on a great rope swing. We explored the area on a couple of day hikes and went to a pond where the boys caught salamanders. The scenery was beautiful and made for a fun adventure.
