Are you struggling with contamination in your mushroom cultivation efforts? It's a common issue that can be discouraging, but we're here to help you save your cultures!
In this video, I share a method for saving contaminated mushroom cultures using water agar to starve the contamination while allowing the mycelium to continue growing, followed by transferring to nutrient agar plates to strengthen the mycelium and verify its cleanliness.
Maintaining sterility is crucial in mushroom cultivation to prevent contamination in the future and ensure successful growth of healthy mycelium.

I used 500 ml water + 10 grams of agar agar powder to make my water agar and 500 ml water + 10 grams agar agar powder + 10 grams of light malt extract powder for nutrient agar plates. 500 ml solution is good for 20 agar plates.
Don't let contamination ruin your mushroom cultivation efforts - watch the tutorial and save your cultures!
