Los Angeles Fire Department Engine 57 was initially dispatched alone to a rubbish fire on the 7100 blk. of S. Hoover St. shortly before midnight. While enroute, their incident was upgraded to a structure fire.
Units assigned: Battalion 11 (canceled), Battalion 13, Task Force 33, Light Force 66, Engine 21, Engine 57, Rescue 266, & LAPD.
TF33 & E57 were first on scene of an auto fire exposing a one-story single family dwelling; E57 pulled a line to the auto fire, E33 pulled a line to the interior of the exposed residence, LF33 went to the roof, and BC13 was "Hoover IC".
Knockdown was called in 17 mins., no injuries.
