Ireland might not have a velodrome but hasn't stopped us producing a number of top track cyclists. Martyn Irvine won a gold and sliver medal at the World Championship in Minsk recently but another name to take note of is Eoin Mullen. The 19 year old is hoping to become the first athlete from the Aran Islands to qualify for an Olympic Games. Mullen is based at the World Cycling Centre in Switzerland and is one of the most talked about young talents on the world stage. RTE video journalist Darren Frehill spent a day with him in his native Innis Mor. This feature was broadcast on the RTE 6.01 News in April 2013.
