But he practically shouldn't.
Ben Affleck is a tall dude and an old dude.
He's 6 feet 3 and 45 years old.
Batman's older than freaking Beckham, yet jacked.
While a lot of the look as Batman may be due to his costume and the lighting
And maybe even due to steroids.
He nonetheless has some key takeaways for you, to build the best physique, that you desire.
Ben Affleck doesn't like working out.
And that's where most people begin with.
Even me as a trainer, I don't wake up in the morning and think: Hell yeah, time to do a workout session.
Training is nothing fancy, it should be part of your routine.
And to get into a routine you simply have to start.
Starting is the hardest part, but you have to know that once you've started it will get better.
If you don't have support from your environment, try to make friends at the gym or join groups on Facebook and Whatsapp.
Realize that most worthwile things in life are hard first, before they get easier.
What can help you with starting is the support from your environment.
But you have to start to reach your goals.
1. Just start
Once you've started it's hard to keep going.
Most people that sign up for a gym membership quit after 3 months.
While I'm a huge supporter of making your workout and diet sustainable, which Ben's diet and workout plan definitely isn't.
That's also a reason why most of the actors are not able to keep their bodies in the long-term.
Ben only has a great body, until he has to be on the scene.
The movie holds him accountable.
If Ben would step on set, looking like a Spongebob instead of a Superhero.
No one would take him serious, he would risk his career.
You have to hold yourself accountable to your workout schedule.
Write your realistic goals on your facebook wall and post your training pictures.
Go train with a friend or hire a coach.
A coach holds you accountable and gives you the necessary guidance.

2. Find accountability, so you can stick through.
Ben noticed, that once he went for a workout, other things started to improve in his life.
He increased his discipline and had more energy at the movie shoot.
Getting a workout can be a huge win for your day.
Even if your whole day was awfully bad, atleast you got a workout in.
Admiral William McRaven talks about making your bed, to start your day right.
Going for a workout is making your bed on steroids.
It takes discipline and willpower to do it, but training has many positive side effects.
Instead of always focusing on your goal you have to enjoy and trust the process.
Ben Affleck is a monster.
Only for a short time and with the help from plenty of gadgets, but nonetheless, a monster.
He's tall and not the youngest person, but still manages to look freaking jacked.
He gets to that jacked status by just starting.
Holding himself accountable.
And enjoying the process.
Again, take all the positive things that you can from Ben Affleck, and disregard the negative ones.
