Reform UK Party leader Nigel Farage has slammed the media’s coverage of former US president Donald Trump’s rally incident.

Mr Trump was assisted off stage by Secret Services amid reports of a shooting where the former president was set to talk at.

“Mainstream media have spread a narrative of hatred against my friend Donald Trump,” Mr Farage posted on X.

“I hope they are proud of themselves.

“Disgusting people.”
