This is a video showing my 335lb front squat, which I attempted to perform with a brief pause but longer than the quarter second pause I wound up performing. In the voice over, I discuss how it is very easy to overestimate the pause duration in the moment when performing a heavy squat single. The prior ramp up single with 325lb was closer to an actual pause squat, but the pause was quite brief as well.
After this top single, I performed 2x5 back off front squat sets and 3x10 light back squats with brief rest intervals. As accessory exercises, I also performed 4 sets of 45 degree hip extensions on the Roman chair, 4 sets of isolated trunk extension on the Roman chair, 2 sets of seated calf raises, 2 sets of machine leg extensions, 2 sets of machine hamstring curls, and 2 sets of hand grippers.
