During our trip to Oklahoma this past January, water levels were high and we had the opportunity to chase ducks in some flooded timber for our first time ever! Because of the abundance of water, the ducks were spread out in the trees but we were able to find one group of mallards that were feeding heavily on the transition between a buckbrush hole and some green timber. The conditions were less than ideal with rain and overcast skies, but we made the best of it and were able to pick off a few mallards throughout the morning. Hope you enjoy!
