Day three of the Kilimanjaro trek greeted us to an otherworldly scenery. Giant groundsels are plants that only live at high elevations in East Africa. They are typically found only on Mount Kilimanjaro or Mount Kenya.
Here on Kilimanjaro, this beautiful gem of a scenery was tucked in the Barranco ravine on the southern flank of the mountain.
