A 36-year old man has faced Carnarvon Magistrate's Court after he was charged with the abduction of four-year old Cleo Smith on Thursday.
Cleo disappeared on October 16 while camping in WA's mid west, prompting a protracted search for the child.
After 18 days of searching, however, she was found alive in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
