Taekwondo sparring round 1 is all about getting a feel for your opponent, whether that's getting a feel for their speed or strength in the first round, doesn't matter, it's generally about scouting. In this video I show how I personally open my taekwondo sparring matches to get info about my opponents without giving too much away.
