The 2015 Absa Cape Epic begins with a Prologue Stage which features 600m of climbing over a 20km route. The kickoff to eight days of racing is the perfect arena to not only display form, but to show how well teams are working together. And when it comes to teams, Specialized Racing is riding stacked.
Four-time winner, Christoph Sauser, has again partnered with Marathon World Champion and Olympic Games Gold medalist, Jaroslav Kulhavý, for his last run at the Epic. In the women's Sasol category, last year's champions, Ariane Kleinhans and Annika Langvad, are out to defend the title that they so dominantly won.
Watch as the riders share their thoughts on what they're facing and the challenges that lie ahead.
