After going 5-1 in his first UFC fights, including a submission over Tank Abbott, Frank Mir faced Tim Sylvia for the heavyweight championship and broke his arm in 50 seconds to become heavyweight champion in 2004.
Afterwards, Frank Mir was stripped of his title due to a motorcycle injury, and he had a rough few fights back,
but rebounded with a Kimura over Antoni Hardonk, a Kneebar over Brock Lesnar, and TKOd Big Nog to become the interim heavyweight champion.
But in perhaps the greatest UFC event ever, Brock Lesnar got his revenge on Frank Mir to retain his title.
