Eliminate Elbow Pain - In this video, I am demonstrating a technique to alleviate elbow pain by releasing restrictions in the lateral elbow using a lacrosse ball. The lateral elbow is composed of various anatomical structures, including the lateral epicondyle of the humerus bone, the radial head, and the common extensor tendon. Restrictions or adhesions in these structures can lead to discomfort and limited range of motion through out the arm.
To perform this technique, the patient can place a lacrosse ball on the affected area and use body weight and pressure to massage the tissue. This process can help break down adhesions and promote tissue healing. It is advisable to perform this release 4 or 5 times per day to effectively manage the symptoms.
Similarly, this technique can also be used to relieve pain associated with the inside of the elbow (Golfers Elbow), which is caused by overuse or strain of the flexor muscles and tendons in the forearm. Proper diagnosis and treatment are essential for a successful recovery.
