We sat down with UCI Track Champions League founding rider and track cycling gold medallist, Ed Clancy, to gain his perspective on the new event series.

A master tactician, Ed gives us his insight to racing in the Scratch Race format and how to approach 20 laps of the fastest type of track cycling. Having fun racing, getting stuck in and showcasing his style is Ed's kind of racing challenge. Putting away his clinical weapon of a team pursuit machine and jumping on his bunch sprint bike and getting some good, hard racing is what Ed's looking forward to the most from the UCI Track Champions League.
