This shit about Scottie shutting down Magic Johnson isn't even true. I never would have known if I hadn't gone back to watch the 91 FInals.
Scottie complains that The Last Dance didn't portray him well. This is one of many examples showing that the show actually did him a few favors.

Look, it was 1991, I don't have a clear memory of it, so when The Last Dance told me that Pippen shut down Magic Johnson and that changed the series I accepted it. After all, Pippen hadn't had his meltdown yet and I had no problem with teammates getting credit. BUT NOW Scottie's stupid ass got me to go watch the games and realize The Last Dance actually skewed reality in Scottie's favor!!!!!
