Let's take a colour photo and explore the best photo editing techniques to convert it into black and white. Simply desaturating an image won't cut it. We need to craft the contrast and control the elements in the photo. This edit shows the techniques on a travel photo of Buda Castle in Hungary but the principals are universal.
