US President Barack Obama on Sunday laid a wreath at the Pentagon to mark the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
Nearly 3,000 people died when hijacked planes slammed into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and a field near Shanksville in 2001.
It was the deadliest attack on American soil.
