Rating Q+A Skincare Products With a Simple ✅ or ❌ - Part 1 (AD-PR)

Hyaluronic Acid Facial Serum - A common complaint with many HA serums is that they're often sticky and unpleasant to use, but this is definitely not the case with this one. It absorbs quickly, layers well with other products, and it gives my skin a really plump, bouncy appearance. Basically, it does exactly what it sets out to do at a really decent price point.

Grapefruit Cleansing Balm - If you want a luxury cleansing balm experience at a fraction of the price, this one is definitely for you. It has the silkiest texture that is an absolute joy to use. It removes makeup and SPF with ease, and although I prefer to use a flannel, it emulsifies well and washes away completely clean, without leaving behind any greasy, slimy residue. It leaves my skin feeling so soft and supple, and the grapefruit scent is heavenly.

Zinc PCA Facial Serum - There's nothing wrong with this one as such, it's just a product I don't tend to reach for. It has a lightweight texture that feels quite watery when applied, and it has no noticeable scent. I just think I'm much more likely to reach for something a bit more well-rounded when targeting oiliness or blemishes.

Green Tea Daily Toner - If I had to choose between this and the Niacinamide Daily Toner, I would definitely go with this. It's a really lovely, simple toner that's great for adding an extra layer of hydration to your skin. It has a watery texture so it sinks in pretty quickly, and ingredients-wise, it features green tea extract & Tasmanian pepperberry for an antioxidant boost, glycerin & sodium hyaluronate to hydrate and replenish the skin, and honeysuckle extract & aloe vera to soothe irritation. It's a really lovely option overall.

Ginger Root Daily - I absolutely adore the scent of this one, but the product as a whole is just not for me, unfortunately. It has a creamy texture that's not greasy or unpleasant, but it takes quite a while to rub in, and it's a bit too heavy for me to use in the daytime. There's just other moisturisers out there that I prefer in terms of texture and formulation.
