To be in the 1,000 lb. Club, you have to have a cumulative total of 1,000 + lbs. on the 3 power-lifts: squat, bench press, dead-lift. At a power-lifting competition, the officials would give you 4 hours to complete all 3 lifts to get into the Club. We wanted to add the extra challenge of completing all 3 in less than 30 seconds. To keep the weights simple, we divided 1,000 by 3 and went with the same weight of 335 lbs. for each lift. This demonstration is the direct result of the BE STRONG program at Singing River Healthplex. The next BE STRONG launch is December 16th, 2015. RAISING THE BAR.
