A bougainvillea plant grown in a pot needs to be repotted. Bougainvillea is a root bound plant. So when the pot is filled with roots and there is no more space for the roots to grow that is the time to repot. This is understood when we see a stagnant growth in the plant. Generally repotting is done once in two years. While repotting we must prune 2/3 of its roots. In this video I have explained when, why and how to repot a bougainvillea properly.
