Valuable tools to reduce pain when walking ✅
Simple movements to help your body take a break from the forward movement of walking can be just what your body needs to reduce joint pain or stiffness.
These are two of my favorite movements that can help with knee and hip stiffness ☝🏽
Keep these two movements in your tool box to pull out and use if you are noticing stiff or painful hips or knees when walking on an uneven surface 🙌🏼
Uneven terrain causes your muscles to work harder and if they fatigue too quickly- you may experience increased pain or stress to certain parts of the joint ☝🏽
10-15 repetitions of either of these exercises can be a great place to start. You can also start with both of these, as long as they feel good 👀
Choosing 1 or 2 exercises to do when resting can help increase the tolerance of your joints especially on uneven surfaces ✅
