The changeup is one of the prettiest pitches in baseball. Hall of Famers Greg Maddux, Pedro Martinez, Trevor Hoffman and even Nolan Ryan...all had great changeups.
The godfather of the modern changeup was Mario Soto. Nolan Ryan learned his changeup from Soto and both Maddux and Pedro tried to emulate him.
