Meet Jan Pitts, Residential faculty member in the Mathematics department at MCC. In college, Jan was initially a Physics major but realized the fit wasn't quite right and switched to Math after a few semesters. With a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in math she has been teaching with MCC since 1995. Jan's advice for anyone who has to take math...If you don't like it, get it out of the way quickly and don't take a break between math classes because you will forget it...Math is a language.
