I talk about how to prepare for your job talk interview as a professor or as a PhD. I briefly define what a job talk interview is and what you experience during the job talk interview.
I give an overview of a job talk interview structure, and the basic things that you should expect to talk about during your job talk interview.
The structure of the job talk interview in academia usually provides an overview about who you are as a researcher, your research trajectory, and a summary of a current research project.
I also discussed some tips when you go on your campus visit for your academic job. It is important to make sure that you’re not on your cell phone that often and be present with all of your campus visit interviews. You want to make sure that the person that you are having a conversation with is getting 100% of your attention.
Finally, I stress the importance of rehearsing your job talk and making sure that it is fluent for you do you have a natural conversation during your job talk seminar.

David Maslach is a research professor of entrepreneurship, innovation, and business strategy, I discuss topics, such as behavioral science, strategy, innovation, and entrepreneurship, and apply these to my new peer proofreading and editing platform. Topics include the sharing economy, altruism, investing in technology, starting a business, and bounded rationality. My favorite videos pertain to incentives, goal setting, and learning from failure to drive behaviors such as weight loss, stopping telemarketers, creating novel technologies, and creating new movements.
[ Ссылка ]: Peer proofreading and editing platform
A new platform where you can earn credits by editing other people's documents. Use these credits to have your own work edited. If you do a good enough job, you can convert these credits to money.
The goal of the platform is to get people to 'pay it forward' and help other people out by creating incentives for people to give back.
