THIS is the moment a flaming Russian plane crashes out of the sky after 'being shot down by Wagner forces'.
According to reports, the lane was attacked by mercenaries from the Wagner Group.
The plane exploded in flames and twisted and turned as it fell to the ground over Voronezh region as Yevgeny Prigozhin’s mercenary army headed north to Moscow.
The Soviet-era large turboprop plane is used by the Russian military to increase the range of radio signals.
The Il-18 has a crew of up to nine people.
Separately, reports emerged of unrest in detention jails Vodnik and Butyrka evidently in support of Prigozhin, himself a former convict who recruited jail inmates for his Wagner force.
