Actor Sean Connery – known most famously as the first man to play ‘James Bond’ – has died aged 90.
The Hollywood star made seven Bond films over the course of his career, the last in 1983, “Never Say Never Again.”
Mr Connery was awarded an Oscar in 1988 for his role in the film “The Untouchables.”
Then-president Bill Clinton honoured the actor for his lifetime achievements at the Kennedy Centre in 1999, with Mr Connery later knighted by Queen Elizabeth in 2000.
