Stelara Self-Injection #7 for Crohn's Disease and IBD Management
Today was focused on Stelara (Ustekinumab) Self-Injection #7 for my Crohn's Disease, IBD.
During this shot, my second of the year, I discuss infection, surgery, and, antibiotics with Crohn's disease.
This being my 7th injection, I have recently passed my one year anniversary for being on this treatment. I've recently had surgery that led to infections, ER visits, and antibiotics, so my body is not managing well and I felt my body really needed this dose.
Through this shot, I also changed up my shot process, injecting in my leg versus my normal stomach injection. I wanted to compare injection sites, so this was a new thing for me to try out and research for myself.
I'll try to finish my Stelara blog posts for injections 3-6 and add this edition of lucky #7, right in time for St Paddy's Day and my . I apologize for my negligence on this, life just grabs you sometimes. 🍀
