Stage 19 of this year's Giro is a 139km stage, short but very, very hard with three mountains giving over 60km of climbing and 4300m of vertical ascent.

The climbing starts on the category one Passo Gavia, a 17.3km climb up to 2618m with a maximum gradient of 16%. Following this is the mighty Stelvio, reaching 2758m at the summit. This is the highest point of the race this year, meaning whoever reaches the summit will win the Cima Coppi prize.
The last climb of the day is the Martello, a relatively small mountain, at "only" 1267m, but the longest climb of the day at 22.3km, an average gradient of 6.4%.
This stage could prove decisive in the battle for the pink jersey, and it's one we're really looking forward to.
